These Terms govern your use of painttap.app and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by PaintTap. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The estimate is informational

PaintTap produces a price range based on photos you upload and regional rates. It is not a binding quote. A real, contractually binding price comes from a licensed contractor after a site visit. We make no guarantee that any contractor will paint your home for a price within the range.

Your content

You retain ownership of photos and information you submit. By submitting them, you grant PaintTap a non-exclusive license to use that content to operate the Service, generate your report, and improve our estimation models.

Acceptable use

• Don't upload photos of properties you don't own or have permission to use.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or scrape the Service.
• Don't use PaintTap to harass third parties or violate any law.

Contractor introductions

If you opt in to be matched with contractors, your contact information and estimate range may be shared with up to 3 vetted local contractors. PaintTap does not perform the painting work and is not a party to any contract you enter into with a contractor.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” basis. PaintTap disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaintTap is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
