PaintTap (“we”, “us”) operates an exterior paint estimator at painttap.app. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using PaintTap, you agree to this policy.

What we collect

• Photos you uploadof your home's exterior. We use them only to produce your paint estimate.
• Location details you provide (address, ZIP, city, state) so we can apply local labor and material pricing.
• Contact details — name, email, phone — that you submit on the lead form so we can send your report and, if you opt in, introduce you to local contractors.
• Technical data — device, browser, anonymized usage events — to operate, secure, and improve the product.

How we use it

• Generate your fair-price estimate and the PDF report we email you.
• Share your range (and contact details, when you opt in) with up to 3 vetted local contractors who match your price range.
• Improve our estimation models — photos may be reviewed in aggregate to calibrate accuracy.
• Respond to support requests and prevent abuse.

Who we share with

We share contact details with local contractors only when you opt in to be matched. We use a small set of service providers (email delivery, AI image analysis, hosting) under confidentiality and data-protection terms. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

• Request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing privacy@painttap.app.
• Opt out of contractor introductions at any time.
• Disable analytics cookies through your browser settings.

Retention

We retain reports and contact records for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. Photos are retained for 12 months unless you request deletion sooner.
